About Us
Our goal is to teach students to be independent students by focusing on a positive self-image, independent
learning, intrinsic motivation and the development of effective learning strategies.
Positive self-image
Developing his learning capabilities, the student will reduce misestimations
and transform them into positive self-esteem.
Independent learning
The student will analyze his study problems, so that he can identify the causes and think about possible solutions.
In the end the student will be able to solve his study problems on
his own.
Intrinsic motivation
Increasing the student's fun with learning through proper planning,
changing study habits and positive rewards.
Learning strategies
With the help of learning strategies, the student will learn to deal with: concepts, definitions, formulas, grammar, reading comprehension, plans,
summarizing, speeches, papers, etc.
About Menno
Peereboom (1975)
Since August 2007, I am living in Vienna where I am teaching Dutch to pupils of the Dutch primary
school. In February 2008, I founded the
Peereboom Learning Institute, an organization for training and
learning support.
I studied Political Science at the Free University in Amsterdam. Afterwards I attended the postgraduate
school of teaching and learning in social studies at the same university.
I worked as a tutor at the Ajax
youth soccer school (Amsterdam) and I worked as a
civic education teacher at the
Alkwin Kollege (Uithoorn) and the private school
Stebo (Den Haag).
